1993 Dodge Caravan review from North America
"Happy with van"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I replaced the timing belt, water pump
cam seals, serpentine belt. The timing belt had never been inspected or changed, but was found in good shape (replaced anyways). Cost $700 at local garage. Dealer wanted $1800 for same job.
General comments?
Have had transmission inspected twice and oil changed (new gasket each time)
Did some undercoating, priming and painting with spray cans.
Runs fine, always starts.
It is cold in winter, heater not quite adequate for Canadian climate, but keeps windows defrosted.
I change oil and use throttle body cleaner routinely. Does not burn oil.
