"Comfortable is the only good thing about it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Overheating problem due to thermostat valve.
Radiator cracked after a 6 hour drive.
Radiator fan stopped working.
Alternator was replaced due to a lack of charging of the battery.
Has a exaust leak.
Clutch needed replacing.
It has a jolting problem when changing gears or on and off the throttle.
Carburetor needed replacing because it was leaking petrol.
Automatic choke stopped working.
Only one valve on the carburetor.
Takes a while for the alternator to charge the battery.
It uses a huge amount of petrol.
Vacuum hoses crack easly.
A thump occurs coming from the steering arms when turning.
Brakes always need bleeding.
General comments?
This is not the car you would want to buy whilst on you p's. it has cost me a lot of money fixing problems yet they find a way to re occur.
It has no performance and not even beat a Gemini due to carburetor never working well. the engine chuckles after 3000rpm.
Handling is a problem. it under-steers easily. but also a very smooth and comfortable car.
