1991 Morgan 4/4 review from UK and Ireland
"A stunning drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replacement hoses.
Replacement spark plugs and leads.
Patches of surface rust.
General comments?
The front suspension needs rebuilding every 40,000 miles or so (to replace the king pins).
This is not the car for you if you enjoy your comforts, however if you like to be close to the road with the wind in your hair, you can do no better!
Needs frequent small maintenence jobs, e.g. greasing the suspension, derusting etc.
The parts are usually standard Ford or Rover (dependent on the type of engine). Other parts are readily available, as are custom upgrade kits etc.
Morgans hold their value like nothing else. Mine is 9 years old, and is still worth within £3000 of the purchase price!
