1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible LXi review from North America

"Luxury sport car at average car pricing"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I've had to replace the front brake pads about every 20,000 to 25,000 miles. I do this myself and paid about $20 for the first Lifetime Warranty set, all others have been free.

Both tie rod ends went bad at 75,000 miles. I did this myself for around $80 in parts and then had a free front end alignment the next day while replacing the original tires.

General comments?

Overall, this is probably the best car I've owned to date.

For an ex-rental car it's been very reliable and has held up very well over 84,300 miles in Ohio.

The only real complaint is that it seems to be a little underpowered, but for the price it's just fine.

I've not had any problems with the top coming apart or leaking.

I looks as good now as the day I drove it off the lot and drives just as well.
