2001 Renault Laguna Privilege review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent car with fiddly faults"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel injection warning light kept coming on.
Low profile wheels are too soft and are easily damaged, this also causes problems with tyres.
Ball joints wore out twice.
Turbo leaked oil into exhaust.
Turbo needed replacing.
Wheel struts replaced.
Tyre pressure sensor valves break easily.
Crazy woman in 'voice' shouts at you for petty reasons if you have no water on your windscreen washer she shouts at you, and flashes 'SERVICE' on the dashboard.
Light coloured seats dirty easy and the plastic triangular button broke off leaving a hole like a cigarette burn.
It is inpossible for the co-driver to adjust the heating controls while the driver has his hands on the gear stick.
Airconditioning failed.
General comments?
Car looks very classy.
Nice colour.
Easy to maintain body.
Comfortable.
Very fast and always reliable.
Galad all repairs were under warranty; would not have like to pay for them.
