1962 Morris Minor 4 door review from UK and Ireland
"A nice vehicle to enjoy English countryside"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Converted to unleaded head - hardened valves.
Transmission reconditioned.
Headliner redone.
Modern seats installed.
Brakes upgraded.
Alternator installed.
New suspension.
No seat belts, but at 50 miles an hour you pretty much see what you need to see.
Laminated windscreen installed.
Halogen lights installed.
Original body - no welding - I'm lucky having bought a sound 'shell' on which to build upon.
General comments?
On country lanes and secondary routes this car is in its own element.
OAPs love it and say their original car never looked as nice as this one.
Easy to tune-up, wealth of parts and shops that are not going to break the bank.
