1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe review from North America
"A very fast and inexpensive way of transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got the car I had to fix the driver's window because it came out of the clips and still have to fix it every now and then because I do not have the money to fix.
I have had to fix the driver's seat after it jumped out of track and the front stayed up and the back down.
The A/C does not work because the fittings are loose going into the firewall.
I have also had to replace the head gasket when I first got the car.
General comments?
This car is very fast and really starts to take off when the Turbo kicks in. I have raced a '99 Ford F-150 with the 5.4 and beat him so I have some bragging rights around my house.
This car is also very nice because of the gas mileage since I am only in high school.
I have also done a few other things like tint the windows and put a stereo to make the car just a little bit more noticeable.
If anyone is thinking about buying a car like this one, I would highly recommend it.
