1992 Peugeot 505 STi review from Malaysia
"Reliable and save"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The first that went was the electrical wiring due to the extensive hot weather.
Suspension came in and many engine problems sue too bad mechanics.
Recent years, power windows motor went, central locking motor, air condition switch, water leakage in fuel tank.
Alarm went shortly after attemps to fix the battery, alternator and wiring.
General comments?
Although so much problem stated, the engine never fails. Very reliable car, solid and stable. Enage in accident, but nothing was damage (other than the paint scrached), the other party has to get his car written off!
Great to drive, super perfomance on the road/freeway. Seats are extremly comfortable, no car other manufacturers make such seats anymore.
Parts are expensives and difficult to find, but will keep the car until it has to go (or no one knows how to fix it).
