2004 Ford Fusion 1 review from UK and Ireland
"A good car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sticking storage compartment. Very annoying on what is a brand new car. Otherwise everything else is perfect.
General comments?
I had this as a courtsey car for a week while my TDCi Focus was getting serviced. Generally a good car, decent space, usual soild Ford Build and its stunningly economical, I would easily believe the 65.9 combined figures for economy.
Bad points.
Its not the most inspiring looking, there is no cd player, no air con, no remote central locking and wait for it no electric windows! That is tight, especially in todays market. The engine is also underpowered, my TDCi 115 Focus is like a bullet in comparison, but is a very nice and quiet engine otherwise. Would be a very nice all rounder if a tuning box was fitted.
If you don't need the extra room, buy a fiesta instead.
