1999 Vauxhall Omega Elite review from UK and Ireland
"Sheer driving pleasure. Underrated car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had the car nearly a year now with only one niggle and that is the flip down fuse box by the drivers knee occasionally falling down. Like any car, if it is well maintained it will last and mine has lasted very well.
General comments?
The car is five years old and has been looked after impeccably resulting in a beautiful drive. The level of comfort is fantastic and lots of relevant gadgets to help such as navigation system, built in mobile hands free kit, cruise control, multi function steering wheel, diagnostic computer, climate control and a superb stereo system and xenon lights which are a must for such a fast car. I have the automatic and manage to get very reasonable miles per gallon. The car really is a wolf in sheep's clothing with regards to performance (very quick and effortless build up of very high speeds) though some people have an issue with the ''bland'' looks of the car. I for one like the understated looks of this car knowing that it will handle very, very well!
