2004 Nissan X-Trail SE AWD review from North America
"Excellent!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
My wife wanted a small SUV with great fuel economy and in Canada, that comes down to a Honda CRV, Toyota RAV-4 or the Nissan X-Trail. The Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute have a less powerful 2.3 litre 4 cylinder and all the rest of the competitors have V-6's.
The X-Trail is more powerful than the CRV or RAV-4 and gets the same or better economy. It has a much bigger sunroof, a better AWD system and has more standard features for the money.
Since delivery two months ago, the car has been great and even surpassed our high expectations. Great comfort, fun to drive and good economy. Our 10 year old daughter loves all of the back seat features and the great visibility - she won't drive in my Jetta TDI anymore.
