1996 Holden Acclaim VS review from Australia and New Zealand
"Awsome! If u like cruising go buy one now."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has really gone wrong with this car - I can't beleive how good it is!
The only thing I've had to spend money on really is having it serviced so far.
General comments?
Brilliant car! Its big, roomy, quiet, smooth, and goes hard if you push it (which I never really do).
There's plenty of leg room wherever you go, and seats are good.
Fuel econ on hway is great, maybe 7-8 litres/100km cruising, but goes up to 13+ around town.
Me&all friends love this car, its so good to just pack evrything into and just go for a cruise somewhere.
Mechanically tight in my opinion; I would buy the same car again.
If you want huge performance and handling on rails go buy a skyline or go rollerblading behind a truck or something , this isnt a performance car, wasnt meant to be one.
All up great all-rounder, does everything, and looks nice. The VS has a reputation as the best Commodore ever in many circles.
Its not unusual for these rides to rack up 400000+ K's.
