2001 Peugeot 307 rapier review from UK and Ireland
"Don't bother unless you want to use it for an off-road banger car!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car broke down within 3 months of purchasing it, Peugeot informed me it was a coil in the engine.
The indicator won't stay on when you are turning right or you turn on the high beam.
All carpets in front and back are coming away from under the trims.
Driver's side window goes up and down by itself.
Passenger door will not open at all, lock mechanism broken!!!
Exhaust rattled so much it snapped off.
Door seals are coming away on both back doors.
The car was recalled for an engine bracket to be replaced.
The radio has bad interference on FHM.
General comments?
The car was purchased as a family car, but at present our family is unable to get into the car with the faulty door mechanism.
When we do get into the car though it is Russian Roulette as to when the windows start going up and down and as we are coming into winter months I don't think we will need the air conditioning with this.
I am sorry, but I have tried, I cannot find one thing that I really can say is fantastic about this car or the service you receive from Peugeot if you have a problem, I am just so sorry that I traded my reliable Volkswagen Polo in for this heap!!!
