2002 Peugeot 307 LX review from UK and Ireland
"Great car, few faults, but now are sorted, don't buy the 1.4 Petrol 1.6 so much better"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After picking up the car the CD Changer stop working, took 9 weeks for the replacement to arrive, but I phoned up the peugeot dealer, To have one fitted as an extra they could get one in for the next day.
Had the indicator stalk replaced like every other one it seems.
Had a problem with the gearbox when I down geared from 4th into 2nd, got stuck in gear, dealer sorted out the next day a pin had broken in the linkages.
General comments?
This is the first car I have owned after years of company cars, and the first one I a chosen myself, I am a high mileage driver, the 1.4 cheap to insure (group 4) and very confortable, the main reason I bought it, but on the motorway its gutless.
The car does handle very well and is more pradictable on the edge compared to my old 306, which caught me out a few times,
