1994 Oldsmobile Aurora review from North America
"I love this car and will keep it running as long as I can"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Master Cylinder went at 70000.
Tires are frequently replaced.
Radiator replaced at 120000.
Speed Sensor went out at 125000.
Seat Belts and Fuel Rail construction fixed at GM's expense.
Car wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear unless very gentle with rpms, lead to
Transmission Solenoid replaced at 135000.
Fuel pump and water pump at around 90000.
Now it leaks transmission fluid at 140000 about two quarts every 1500 miles.
General comments?
The car is very quick and with overdrive off can really move.
Repairs are costly, but worth every nickel.
The car is extremely comfortable, especially with the heated seats in the winter.
The sound system is awesome with the Bose system and is crystal clear.
Gas mileage for me is 27mpg on the highway at 70mph and about 18mpg in town.
These cars may not hold their value as nicely as other cars, but the cars are fun, sporty and worth it.
