1998 Dodge Durango SLT review from North America
"Love my Durango"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had the battery replaced (under warranty) 2 times before 30,000 miles, not Chrysler fault, it was the battery manufacturers I was told, local dealer replaced both times no complaint.
Just replaced the ball joints. At 50,000 miles I think that is not much to have go wrong.
Not happy with the rusting window edges, but have checked out the replacements, and not that bad, I will replace them.
As for the gas mileage, I knew when I got it what it was, and we took it to Disney, and the comfort and the dependability far out weighted the mileage, and by the way the mileage was not that bad.
General comments?
I waited and shopped many places for my truck, I do not regret getting it at all. My sons are bugging me to sell it to them, and I want to keep it.
I agree with another persons posting, the key is to maintain your vehicle, like, rotate tires, balance, align, and regular oil changes. Works for us.
