1972 Holden Kingswood HQ review from Australia and New Zealand
"Sex on wheels"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Interior needs has worn badly and could do with a clean up.
Radiator was mint until someone cracked the top while putting Premier nosecone on. Was from a Falcon and fitted in perfectly.
Brakes have been replaced and I still get pulled up when it's time for a Warranty of Fitness.
Can be heavy to drive when the car is full, but no lowering springs needed.
Parts are getting more hard to find.
General comments?
Excellent for cruising looking for boys.
Staunch and sturdy. I'm not worried if I have an accident cause I know the other car will come off worse.
I am restoring it as best I can and loving every minute of it.
