2001 Mitsubishi L200 GLS 4X4 doublecab review from Israel
"Still - the best in it's category!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This is a follow-up report to my previous one, done at 98000 Km. Since then I've totaled 170,000 Km - and still going. The only thing replaced since, was a steering tie rod (pitman) at 150,000 Km. Everything else works perfectly.
My fuel consumption has deteriorated a bit. I average only about 8.6 Km/liter now. The garage hasn't been able to locate the exact cause.
I've replaced the original Bridgestones at 140,000 with a better quality Bridgestone that has a more aggressive tread for off-road, but is not noisier than the previous set.
General comments?
I enjoy this truck very much. It is a dependable daily driver that can be taken to the toughest off-road terrain.
When owning such a car, one must realize that it is not a passenger car, and therefore should not be judged by the same standards.
