1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon review from North America
"Reliable and good looking"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had the car for 10 years so a lot of things that went wrong were from normal wear and tear since it was a daily driver.
Changed headliner
t-tops always leaked in one spot on the driver's side door when it rained heavily.
This is even after I changed all the weatherstripping.
Driver's side floor plan started to rust out with a little hole.
I changed the oil every 2k miles
The tranny fluid every 15k miles.
I never got stuck with this car.
General comments?
I bought the car with 48k miles on it and I only had to do normal fixes to it.
I had the car painted in 1/2002.
I have Amercian Racing rims on it.
I added true dual exhaust with 2 hi flow cats.
I sold it to my brother for $1000 in 4/2003 because my wife and I are having twins and I had to get a family car. I would still have it if I had the room to keep it because I love that car.
My next car I want to get is a 1987 442.
