1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 review from North America
"This car is seriously quick and corners like it's on rails"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both front C.V. Shafts need to be replaced, but are still functional.
Both front ball joints need to be replaced.
Sunroof leaks and has ruined the headliner, but I fixed it with Orange Engine Caulk.
Floorboard leaks on the driver side.
Power window switch is ruined from sunroof leaking on it.
Blinker switch broke.
Cruise control no longer works.
Needs new clutch.
Catalytic converter is making funny sounds.
Horn no longer works.
Passenger window screeches when you roll it down.
There is some body rust, but that is to be expected after 15 winters in South Dakota and Minnesota.
General comments?
This car waxed a 1999 Ford Mustang GT the other day.
Seats are extremely comfortable.
The body rattles a lot with a bumping system in the back.
