1995 Mazda MX6 LS review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This is an update to my review of 11/26/02, 'Sexy, Agile, and Comfortable... After Awhile. The power steering fluid leak was discovered to be a rack & pinion steering box leak. This required the replacement of the box.
I replaced both CV joints and also valve cover gaskets at 75,000 miles.
General comments?
I recently had a major repair bill. Most of the items repaired were routine maintenance that I had neglected, that is, brakes, radiator flush, new tires, etc.
My MX6 continues to be an outstanding car.
The steering and the valve cover gasket problems were a surprise to me at 75,000 miles, but the car is almost 10 years old.
