1991 Subaru Liberty GX review from Australia and New Zealand
"Q-car looks with WRC performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing to fault except for routine maintenance. For a car with over 200'000 on the clock, this thing is virtually bullet-proof.
General comments?
Since acquiring the car, the following mods have been performed:
'98 WRX seats fitted (straight swap - no compliance necessary)
MOMO 13.5" Air-Leather wheel & boss (with cruise control)
Aluminium billet gearknob.
KYB G-Excel shocks mated to KINGS -30 progressive rate springs.
Aluminium front strutbrace & 20mm rear swaybar (up from 16mm stock item) with low compliance bushes, all by WHITELINE.
DBA Slotted & ventilated discs (f) with semi-metallic pads.
Discs & calipers (f) all heat coated.
Silver '98 WRX wheels (another straight swap) on Sumitomo HRTZ II 205/50-16.
Rolled guards.
STi aluminium billet oil filler cap.
Ignition & engine immobilizer.
