1998 Lancia Kappa review from Netherlands
"The age old decision Style or substance, I choose both with Lancia Kappa"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, almost all the lights in the control panel have burnt out, and to replace them (you can do it yourself), takes quite a long time, since you need to take apart all the fascia.
The boot lock, was not closing when I bought the car, but it was just a problem of needing some oil or grease.
Right front door sometimes does not open with the central locking.
General comments?
A fast car, with a powerful engine, the luxury in this car is fantastic, and really studied to the fine details.
The engine is strong and the turbo is very gentle,... strong only when you want it, I use it to pull a Caravan and I must say that the only things that slow me down are the speed limits.
On a long distance trip it is like traveling in a business class of an airplane.
