1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS review from North America
"A good looking, high-performing piece of cheap crap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the alternator 4 times, starter twice, and spark plugs twice.
Engine head leaks oil.
Engine burns oil.
Both window motors quit almost at the same time.
Front brakes locked up the DAY I bought it.
Brake lines replaced twice.
Red wheels turned pink within a week and replaced under warranty 4 times, now still pink.
General comments?
Car is somewhat fun when running. GM puts together a cheap product that stands up poorly over time. On top of that, they refuse to fix the things that should have been done correctly from the factory. I visited three different dealers trying to get things fixed under warranty and got extremely rude treatment from each of them. Will NEVER buy another Chevy because of this. Would recommend you not buy one either.
