1999 Jeep Cherokee review from North America
"Great all around 4x4 vehicle for the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The motor in the passenger window failed at 75,000 miles. It was replaced for around $200.
The driver's side seat has started to show significant wear at 90,000 miles and will need to be replaced soon.
The CD player often gives an error message when inputing a CD, but after inserting it a few times it accepts the CD and plays it.
General comments?
This vehicle is very quick off the line and cruises just fine at 85 mph on the highway.
It has a great power to weight ratio and handles 4x4 roads very well.
The back of the car is a bit light so you need to have it in four wheel drive if there is any amount of snow on the ground.
When playing a CD while off-roading, it seems impossible to get the cd player to skip.
