1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS review from North America
"For my driving fast driving style, the car is reliable and has taken a beating and kept on ticking"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The oddest thing that I have replaced on this car are the door handles and the back hatch release grippers. The passenger door handle went first. Then about three weeks later the driver door handle broke off in my hand. And because the back hatch often got stuck, it took a while for me to break into my own car. This ended up being a $450 dollar repair.
The brakes were recalled.
General comments?
I drive extremely fast and put on roughly 100 miles a day. The car has kept up with that pace since day one.
