1996 Holden Commodore S Pack review from Australia and New Zealand
"Reliable, efficient and exceptionally comfortable!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far nothing major has gone wrong with this car. The only cost I have incurred is with servicing. This vehicle has a flawless mechanical history as well, as mechanics often comment on the fantastic condition that it is in.
General comments?
VS commodore S packs are quite hard to spot now days (especially in good condition), but I really love this car, It has a much more comfortable interior than the standard executive model, with cloth trim, darker colored moldings, added extras like cruise control, airbags, ABS, sports suspension, mags and limited slip differential. The overall condition of this vehicle is flawless. I was lucky enough to purchase it from the original owner who treated it like a member of his family. You would swear it was 1996 again (complete with new car smell). Considering how low the price was I think I have walked away with a bargain and this car is proof that the VS series is by far one of the best Holden has ever produced.
I had the option to buy a VT at a lower price, but I chose VS in the end because of the rave reviews.
