1992 Jeep Cherokee limited review from Italy
"Solid, convenient buy - especially used"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear differential bust.
Vacuum problems engaging 4wd.
Odd rattles from doors.
Clutch fan packed up.
Thermostat been replaced.
Steering fluid flask has cracked.
Headlining has dropped.
Various oil leaks.
Rpm counter shakes.
General comments?
You can expect some pains from such an old car, but not this many.
When it works I'd say it runs better than some other recent cars, which are mostly with cheaper build.
No pain - no gain.
I would probably still buy a more recent one. You feel safe in them.
