1994 Geo Metro XFI review from North America
"Gas saver BIG TIME"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well nothing much, I've had a wheel bearing go out on me and a hose busted, besides that nothing.
General comments?
I've got the stripped model Metro which comes with nothing but 2 seats, a gear shift and a standard instrument cluster. When I bought the car for $4500.00 I even had to come home and install my own radio.
I bought this car for the gas mileage expecting it to last for a few years, 3 at the most but it has really surprised me in the fact that it's been the most reliable car I've ever owned, even more so than my 96 Honda Civic.
The weather is a bit hot these days so I really don't drive it in the hot seasons, but all winter long it's on the go non stop. I'm thinking of getting another one next year.
