1997 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought car new first year there was a recall on the bushings in the front suspension brought to dealer they replaced them and realigned the front end suspension was noisy before repair. wheel bearings in front got noisy had to replace them had some trouble figuring out what noise was from till I talked to some one and they said that's quite common it's a poor design the bearing is under a lot of stress. the rear one's go out later I heard. my heater switch doesn't work on 1 and 2. now the intake or headgasket is leaking I got antifreeze in my engine this is a common problem to I heard. some people are blaming it on the antifreeze the dexcool this could be so. these are serious problems and expensive to fix I will not buy another chevrolet vehicle. you could always trust chevrolet put out a good product, but now that's gone!
