1997 Nissan Patrol GR SE review from UK and Ireland
"Chunky carry all, not for the shy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Warped front brake disc.
Faulty CD changer.
Centre console ashtray sheared off.
Assorted squeaks and rattles.
General comments?
Appalling dealer attitude!
(-)
Leather very thin and marks easily.
Unexpected amount of rattles and squeaks developed over 10,000 miles.
Fuel economy worse than expected for a modern car.
Doesn't have much grip on wet roads.
Tricky to select 4x4 mode on the move.
Rumbles/vibration when in 4x4 on tarmac.

Looks good
Goes pretty well
Fairly refined , unless in 4x4.
Lots of car for the cash.
Practical. I cart 3 dogs and kids around in it.
Just stay away from main dealers!
