1992 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"An alright car with many problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My head gaskets blew at 105,000 miles. Two months after ownership!
The left side of the front end of the car has basically fallen off.
The seats have started to wear.
The headlights do not always work.
The power steering makes noises.
The passenger side window does not roll down.
The drivers side speaker cover has fallen off, and the back seat speaker cover is falling off.
General comments?
The car handles very well at high speeds.
The car isn't expensive.
The car is fast, but if you push the pedal too hard, the gaskets will blow. This car is known for faulty head gaskets. The Thunder-bird is a great car, but there are too many "little" problems that occur all the time.
