1993 Pontiac Grand Prix SE review from North America
"Just another american junk car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front brakes have been changed.
Air conditioning seized working (it is charged).
Makes a squeaking noise at the front in reverse.
Alternator doesn't charge the battery in low rpm.
Headlights replaced.
Paint peeled off from the driver's side door.
Left door handle broken.
There is a hissing sound from the engine (either stripped sparkplugs or the head gasket).
Speakers wore out bad (been replaced with JBLs).
Eear brakes don't seem to work good.
General comments?
American cars are poor quality since 1969, and they still are in 2000. I will never buy an American car unless the car companies prove that they can build a car which beats the Japanese car makers, not on price, but quality and reliability.
