1995 Oldsmobile Aurora LX review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Cd player went kaput after first year I had car. We had an extended warranty and it was replaced no cost, no problem. This CD is still in car working 4 years later.
The coils for the ignition went out at 52000 miles. They were replaced and the car tuned up, cost $635.00. Never failed again.
The fuel sending unit and pump died at 96,000. It was replaced at a cost of $485.00. AT 172,845 still going.
The transmission failed at 127,340 miles. Most likely due to the fact we never serviced it. Somehow forgot. Pretty dumb. Cost me $3850.00. Replaced water pump and all seals (voluntary) since it was cheaper to do it then. Everything works fine, seals still good.
Needed a master cylinder at 128,000. $235.00. No big deal.
Fuel Rail leak at 165,000. Replaced. Received recall paperwork from Olds, applied for rebate.
General comments?
I love this car.
The car is responsive, although not the best handling (soft) it is no slouch if you know how to drive.
Brakes good.
Quiet and smooth.
Still gets 21-24 mpg still at 172,000 miles. Not bad for a 4400 pound car.
Great sound system.
As far as speed, put your foot in it if you don't believe. I know many BMW owners who are now believers.
Too bad GM didn't stop producing Buick's instead.
