1983 Jeep CJ7 review from North America
"Awesome"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Tie rods
rust
steering knuckle.
General comments?
I purchased this 1983 CJ-7 in stock condition. The only part that was not stock was the 31 inch tires.
I have done a spring over lift, moved my shock mounts, and added longer shocks, put 33x12.50 pro comp mudders with pro comp rock crawler rims.
I bought 3/8" diamond plate and plated over all the rust areas.
I have made front and rear bumpers out of square tubing and added a winch.
I have only taken it off road 2 times since all work done. It has handled well so far.
I do have carb issues. I can't seem to get the carb tuned right.
I love this Jeep. I suggest people who want to get into wheeling, purchase a CJ-7.
