1991 Audi 100 E review from UK and Ireland
"Much better than a BMW or Merc"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Failed to start one day, still unable to sort.
Handle broke off glove box.
Damp in front foot-wells.
General comments?
Effortless drive, not fast, but happy at 1000 revs in 5th gear.
Nice feel to the steering, if a bit light.
Generally very impressed except that last week it refused to start, I'm getting no sparks so I replaced the ignition module and distributor cap, but still nothing. ECU recording no faults. Dealer costs very expensive.
Very solid feel and still feels solid once you've pulled the trim out and put it back together, not something I could say about my Honda, for example.
