1991 Cadillac Seville Base review from North America
"This is one awesome Cadillac!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wheel bearing went @ 125000 miles.
Brake proportioning valve @ 148000
miles.
Catalytic converter @ 149000 miles.
The air conditioning has a leak, but I haven't had time to fix it.
Strip of paint on the drivers side door is oddly peeling, other then this the paint is perfect.
Other than these few things the car has been great, just typical maintenance items have been performed.
I.
General comments?
I love my car! It is awesome! The look of it, the ride, the handling and the performance are all awesome. I only have three gripes. 1; I wish it was rear wheel drive, I hate front wheel drive cars, but I love this one. 2; the location of the oil filter makes it very difficult to change the oil without spilling it all over the place! 3; Because it is a Cadillac there is a huge markup for parts to fix it.
I bought this car for $1500 from a dealership with the bad bearing. I drove it for 5000 miles before I had to replace it. It is a great little car, reliable and easy to insure and own.
