1996 Ford Explorer XLT review from North America
"I would buy this SUV again any day"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced sway bar linkage (Ford recall) at approximately 70,000 miles.
Anti-lock braking sensor replaced at approximately 90,000 miles.
Center console armrest has a hole worn in it from 120,000 miles of having my arm in the same place.
Will need pickup truck to haul larger items.
General comments?
This is the most reliable vehicle of the 8 vehicles I've owned.
My wife steals my SUV during our Wisconsin snowstorms for it's 4 wheel drive.
Easy access to the two car seats in the backseat.
