1994 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"Great car if you take care of it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The fuel tank and fuel injector needed to be replaced.
The ball joints are horrible and need replaced.
The interior lights don't work and they never have since I've owned the car.
Headlights are foggy and leak water badly. I have replaced the passenger light bulb 4 times in the past year.
The air bag light blinks nonstop, and the check engine light has been coming on and off for the past year. Is there anything wrong... who knows.
General comments?
This car is very nice, its like driving a couch on wheels. It doesn't have great acceleration power off the line, but once you get going it really does fly. The car contours to the driver, so if you ever sit in the passenger seat you have to lean over to adjust anything. The cupholders are in the arm rest which is the worst place in the whole world. Other than that the car runs pretty well, the valves tap, but the car is 11 years old. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. And ps if you drive in a snowy area, some 60 pound sand bags in the trunk will do you very well.
