1999 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2 LS review from North America
"Buyer beware!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 45,000 miles the ball joints and wheel bearings went bad, as did the sensor that reads the fuel level. As I would drive down the road the fuel indicator would go from full to empty, and in between. I never knew just how much fuel I had. At 65,000 miles the alternator, windshield wiper motor and thermostat went bad. The check engine indicator comes on whenever feels like it. On a good week it comes on once. The vehicle hesitates horribly when the accelerator pedal is pushed.
General comments?
My previous Ford took a serious beating, through mudding, and general burnouts, and I never had a serious problem with it. After owning a Chevy SUV, I will never buy another one.
