1985 Opel Monza GSE review from UK and Ireland
"Stunning Very quick armchair"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Many times I had thought about finding an older car to cherish.Then out of the blue I was offered the Opel Monza 3.0 GSE of 1985 vintage in superb cond I was told for approx £1000.At the time I was put off a little by reports of very low MPG so I left it.A couple of months later I was offered the car for £450 owner had to make room for very expensive kit car project.It was agreed I would buy the said car unseen, but knowing source knew it would be OK.
General comments?
Stunning example 20 yrs old miniscule amount of rust.
Delightfully comfortable Recaro seating.
Surprisingly quick.
Drives like brand new.
Heater inoperative + a couple of very minor items to fix MPG not very good overall who cares Car is Awesome.
