The automatic transmission gave way around 380000kms (and was the original transmission).

Other than the transmission only very small and general things have gone wrong ;Power steering leaks, power windows played up, handbrake warning signal stayed on when the handbrake wasn't on and the dashlights quite often don't come on with the headlights, however the motor is now starting to use oil due to the kms and the thrashing it has had!!

The car has 410000kms on it and runs on lpg, it is very reliable, especially with the amount of kms it has.

Fuel effeciency is excellent getting 500-650kms per tank of gas, being a 70 litre tank and costing under $35 to fill.

My car has a set of 17" inch mags, 2.5 inch exhaust with no resinator and a high flow cat, it also had a k and n pod filter with custom intake piping. So it goes quite well.

Even for a high km commodore on lpg I have only ever had one v6 beat me in a race.

I also installed a killer stereo with mp3 head deck, dvd screen, 6 inch splits, 6x9 three ways, a cadence 300w rms amplifier and a 15" kicker comp cvr subwoofer.

My car has been an extremely reliable car which I bought for $4900 in march 2003, and I have absoloutley thrashed ever since, being a p plater.

It is still on the original motor and with a bit of maintenence and a little less thrashing I'm betting it will see my girlfriend (who I'm about to give the car to) to at least 500000kms on the original motor.
