The Pride is cheap to tax, insure and £10 will half fill the petrol tank!

It is surprisingly nippy with reasonable headroom (I am 6 feet tall)

The rear spoiler/colour matched bumpers/mini side skirt with front splitters and five spoke alloys make this car look quite cheeky and set it apart from the more base models.

Dash switches are awkward to see and use. The electric window switches (on this model) are on the centre console, but difficult to hit quickly as the gear stick seems to get in the way. Similarly the rear wash/wipe, rear screen de-mister and rear fog switches are hidden behind the steering wheel requiring a bit of finger searching before hitting the right one.

The seats seem to be well made appear to wear extremely well too.

Ride can be a little harsh, but nothing horrible, it is actually quite fun to drive.

The headlights are very bright. Staggeringly bright on main beam.

There is plenty of room under the bonnet if you wish to do your own mechanical work and the cam belt can be changed without removing engine mounts whilst jacking up the engine... a definite plus for the DIY mechanic!
