1997 Ford Taurus SE review from North America
"The car is a good family car and rides smooth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The first night I was ready to park the car for the night when I proceeded to put the gear in park and then my car began to accelerate in park. My wheels were not turning. So, then I change the gear back into drive and then back in park it began again to accelerate in park. I turn the car off, then back on and it was fine. I took the car to the auto shop to get a dianogstic the mechanic side that everthing was fine and turned down my idle and flush out my power steering fluid because it was so black. The mechanic said that I was lucky to purchased a good used running car at such a low price.
General comments?
I like the car because it is roomy and I have more leg room. The trunk is huge and spacious.
The driver's seat is very uncomfortable I cannot get really relax in while driving.
