1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ceirra review from North America
"Like driving a powerful couch!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear Brakes and Ball Joint both around 90,000 miles.
Cloth ceiling fell down.
Power door locks stick in frigid weather.
General comments?
I had a great experience with this car. Got mine with 70,000 miles on it, and within a year have driven over 30,000 more. The body hasn't rusted at all.
The interior is very spacious. The seats are really plush. With the car's comfort and speed together, its like driving a powerful couch. The radio is a bit too far for comfortable reach while driving, though.
The 3.8L v6 engine is really great. It truly does go from 0-60 in no time at all. This was the first car I had that was not a 4 cyl, and I will never go back.
Just bought a 2004 3.4L v6 Tacoma, so now I'm selling the Olds. Even with 100,000 miles I should be able io get at least $800 for it.
