1998 Dodge Caravan review from North America
"Slow, but Comfortable Dodge"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission basically went out at 70,000 miles.
Rear view mirror came off at 80,000 miles.
General comments?
This Dodge Caravan was such a gracious and reliable car to me. Nothing was wrong with it except for bad acceleration and a sluggish upkeep. Otherwise, the AC was so cold all the time, and powerful. It was rather economical for a minivan, and cheap to maintain. The transmission was bad; I mean REAL bad. I felt like it would just stop in the middle of the road. I had to keep getting the transmission fixed: I did it about 4 or 5 times. Still its giving me problems, but I sold it.
