1970 Renault 16 TL review from Croatia
"Comfortable. Very comfortable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There was a constant leak somewhere in the coolant system... found that it was an O-ring in the heating valve.
Handbrake wire stuck. Installed another one (used) and the problem came back after few months.
Rear brakes leak.
General comments?
Most comfortable car I ever drove.
Nice engine sound.
Constant problems with handbrake lever.
The car still sits in my grandma's garage (she is the first owner) and is in original (driving) condition. Rust showed at front left wing (upper front corner). All chrome parts are still shining. It will be a nice oldtimer... :-) ) )
