2001 Cadillac DeVille review from North America

So far, nothing at all!!!

The Deville is awesome so far-- I originally wanted an STS, but the more I looked at the car next to it on the car lot (the Deville, of course) the more I realized that I need to get it.

Plenty of power-- I often surprise passengers when I "stand on the pedal" and they experience the pick-up on this car-- it almost seems endless which is amazing for this big of a car.

By far, the most comfortable seats I've sat in for an automobile. Interior is well laid out, but operating the digital readouts can be a little confusing at first, but work well after sitting down with the manual for a few minutes.

Styling is very classy inside and out, I have the pearl-white exterior, light tan leather interior, and chrome upgrade stock wheels. I always get complements on the car wherever I go.

I heard about the 2 common complaints about this car, (oil consumption and tire vibration) I've driven the car over 90 MPH and had no tire vibration whatsoever. I do believe that this car will burn oil, I found the oil level when initially buying it to be a little low, but since it doesn't leak any I don't see a big deal in adding 1/2-1 quart of oil a month-- just a small price to pay to drive this beautiful automobile.

I probably would not recommend anyone to buy a Deville brand new, though-- this car is 4 years old and I bought it for less than half the sticker price...
