1998 Mazda 626 LX review from North America
"This is the best car I've ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Other than basic maintenance items, this car keeps going and going. I have not had to replace any items that failed, but replaced timing belt, axle shafts, water pump, front wheel bearings @ 175K as preventative maintenance.
General comments?
I'll easily run this car to 400k as I'm finding the 4 cyl. and 5 spd manual are both work horses. I would stay away from the auto tranny and 6 cyl.
