2002 Hyundai Accent GS review from North America
"Good, cheap transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing, so far (Knock on wood!)
General comments?
Almost 35,000 miles on my '02 Accent GS and I couldn't be happier! (Knock on wood) I drive 70 miles per day, 350 miles per week, interstate travel and while the car DOES show its "economy" (i.e. nothing too luxurious), I am very pleased with its performance and fuel economy. I have been experimenting with interstate speed and have found that if I keep the car under 60 mph I get 37 MPH!!! A difinite PLUS on a shool teacher's salary! Even at highway speed (65 MPH) I get an average of 33 MPH. The car is basic transportation... It's been dependable and a pleasure to drive. I hope she holds together because I'm gonna' have this critter a LLLOOONNNGGG time. =)
